At various points in life, it’s not unusual to feel stuck. Caught in a pattern that is causing you pain, or having negative impacts on other areas of your life. Perhaps you’re dealing with difficult emotions, or experiencing feelings of anxiety or depression, or having to face a difficult time in your life due to major change or loss. It’s at times like these that we can struggle to see a way past the difficulties we’re facing, and it takes the support of an experienced third party to help you navigate your way to a better place. My role, as a registered psychotherapist, is to provide you with a safe space and the support you need to help you do exactly that.
Your happiness is not determined by what happens to you, everyone experiences ups and downs in life, however you have a choice in how you respond to those events. By understanding and learning how to change your perspective, this will allow you to take an empowered and constructive response, no matter how difficult the situation, you are building a solid foundation for the rest of your life.
My clients are my partners in the healing process. Together, we work to help you understand what you are experiencing, see beliefs or patterns of behaviour that you may not be aware of, but that are causing you harm, pain and/or stuckness. We’ll work together to build strategies that you can take into your daily life, and that will help you live your life fully.
Working collaboratively with you, drawing on my skills and experience, I’ll help you to challenge the patterns of behaviour and limiting beliefs that are keeping you stuck, and find a new more constructive way to move forward.
